FUEL DOCK SERVICES - SEATTLE,WASHINGTON

Seattle Boat Fuel Dock - Washington

If your fuel dock operates in a safe manner then you  know they are conscious of the environment and it's surroundings. It is impossible to safely operate a fuel dock fuel and storage facility and not be sensitive to the environment. The more safety conscious the Seattle Fuel Dock is in handling fuel; the more sensitive you are to the environment.
It is well known that fuel is hazardous and if not handled properly, fuel can lead to serious injury to individuals, as well as damages to the environment. Some of the possible problems that could occur may be a slip and fall accident, ground or water supply contamination, or possibly a fire.
Safe marinas know what is mandated by the government as well as what makes common sense.
A marina that stores and sells fuel is familiar with the government’s requirement to have in place an approved Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan, commonly referred to as an SPCC Plan.

LADY WASHINGTON SAILING - Seattle, WA

Tour the tall ship, Lady Washington, for free at the Kirkland downtown marina on Thurs., Aug. 30, made possible by the City of Kirkland Tourism Program.

Launched in 1989, the Lady Washington is a full-scale reproduction of the original Lady Washington, one of the first American vessels to reach the west coast in 1788. The modern version, 112 feet in length, was constructed in Aberdeen, Wash., by master shipwrights. The topsail ketch Hawaiian Chieftain, an interpretation of a typical European merchant trader of the 19th century, was built in Hawaii in 1988.
